Barbour County Bowhunters Bass Tournament

When: Thursday, August 9th from 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Barbour County Bowhunters will be hosting a Bass Tournament on Thursday, August 9th, 2018. This is the first of two events leading up to the Bowhunters of Alabama State 3D tournament held at Lakepoint State Park on Saturday, August 11th, 2018.

The Bass Tournament will be at the small landing at Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula, AL

Blastoff will be 5:00 PM and run until 8:30 PM
There is a 3 fish limit
The entry fee is $25 per boat and includes a $5 buy in for the big fish pot
This event will be 100% Payback split based on participation
- 15 boats will pay up to 3 places.
- 50% for 1st
- 30% for 2nd
- 20% for 3rd

Indoor 3D & Spot Tournament (Money Payout)

UPDATE

To make your indoor tournament experience even better, we will provide babysitting services and supervised play time in the gymnastics room for only $5 per child.

When: Friday, August 10th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This is the second of two events leading up to the Bowhunters of Alabama State 3D tournament held at Lakepoint State Park on Saturday August 10th, 2018. Come get a little practice in before Saturday's 3D tournament.

Come warm up after 5:00 PM and we will start shooting at 6:00 PM. If you can't make it here by 6:00 PM, you can catch up as long as everyone has started by 7:00 PM.

We will shoot 1 round of 15 targets. The mixture of targets will be 3D, 2D, ASA DAIR, 40cm NFAA Single Spot, 35cm NFAA Hunter, Vertical 3 Spot, Vegas 3 Spot, 40cm NFAA 5 Spot & 40cm FITA Single Spot.

$20 entry fee for Men's Open, Men's Hunter, Women's Open, Women's Hunter & Traditional. $10 entry fee for youth classes under the age of 16. Payback will follow the ASA payback schedule for 2018.

Adults will shoot from 20 yards. Youth under 16 will shoot from 10 yards. Fun Rounds are $5 for youth, $10 for adults.

The format will be:
1 shot per target, per lane. Score, pull your arrow and move to the next lane. We will rotate from target to target like a 3D tournament.

On the 3D targets, the center 12 will count and the 14 ring will be in play. Spots will be marked with standard scoring and X's. Tally your X's in case of ties.

2018 BHA State Championship 3D Tournament

When: Saturday, August 11 at 8:00 AM ! SHOTGUN START !

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2018 BHA State Championship held at Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula, Alabama. The course will be set on the old horse trail located adjacent to the picnic area. We will have signs throughout the area directing you.

You must be a BHA member to shoot in this tournament. If you choose to join onsite, PLEASE arrive early. We will have membership forms available if you would like to sign up before the tournament.

No golf carts, motorized vehicles, etc. allowed on site.

Parking will be in the Picnic area. Registration will be up the hill inside the tent, after you exit the shuttle. We have secured 2 pavilions and the adjacent parking lots.
- The park charges $5.00 per car, $10.00 per passenger van & $25.00 per bus to enter the picnic area
- A pass can be acquired at the guard house to leave and return if needed
- Please do not park in the grass

Registration will begin at 6:00 AM and a shotgun start will be at 8:00 AM. PLEASE be sure to arrive early, register and warm up.

The State Championship will consist of 25 targets, 13 Known and 12 Unknown for the half and half classes.
- Fees will be $30 for all payout possible classes
- Entry fees for all non-payout possible classes will be $10
- There will be trophies for all classes
- Payback will follow the A.S.A. payback schedule for 2018

Range A will be setup for the 30 yard and under classes.

Range B will be setup for the 40 yard and over classes.

After you shoot your round, stop by and try out the Known Yardage Novelty Long Shot.
- You'll get 3 shots for $5
- The person closest to the dot will win 1/2 the pot
- The target will be available to view prior to the shotgun start
- The yardage will be set somewhere between 60 and 75 yards and the yardage will be known.

Please come and enjoy the night with us as we celebrate the 2018 3D Archery Tournament season. Please purchase your meal tickets now. You do not need to purchase a meal to enjoy the night with us. Come hang out even if you don't want to eat.

Adults - Joe's Food Factory will be preparing Fried and Baked chicken, collard greens, macaroni & cheese, yams, cornbread, sweet tea, lemonade and a dessert.

Children - Willy T's will be preparing a chicken finger plate with sauce, chips, a cookie and drink. We will also have pizza slices (18" Pizza) from Graffiti's Pizza. This option will be self-serve and we ask that you please help your children select their meal.

We will also have a celebration cake for dessert.
